What wine goes with what? One of the most common concerns of people is determining the wine that perfectly goes with a specific cuisine. Well I got news for you: trust you’re extinct about your selection. You can never ruin a good meal if you choose a wine that you really enjoy. South America Uncovered



Chile and Argentina are becoming more and more interesting as producing countries for the UK wine market. We have long known that Chile produces wines that stylistically suit our market and at good value prices and our buying director Emma Roberts introduced many new suppliers after her visit two years ago. Argentina is an emerging producing nation and therefore well worth exploring. Personally I hadn’t visited either for 11 years, and so this year’s trip was a real eye-opener.

What’s the best way to build a wine collection? A LEGITIMATE wine collection?



Maybe a book would be a decent place to start, but I'm not looking for something like "The Wine Bible". I'm familiar with wine types and wine regions, what to generally look for in a wine, and how to drink it, etc. I would like to learn more about the grapes and growing, etc. And I would really like to test my palate. The most I've spent on a bottle of wine is . But really, I want to start building a collection of special wines. I'm not looking for only super fancy wines though. I'm not knowledgeable about picking them out or what I need to store them (I'm assuming a fridge…I don't have a cellar). For example, if I have a 2006 bottle of Panther Creek Pinot Noir, will that peak? If so, how do I know when, etc.?
