The Tuscany Region; Hotels, Wines And Stunning Views



Tuscany is considered one of the most beautiful regions in Italy and it holds much promise for anyone who is visiting. The region has lovely views with rolling hillsides as far as the eye can see and this is followed by beautifully yellow coloured fields from left to right. The region is famed for its culture and the small medieval villages scattered around the area are sure to attract many visitors. The region has got an exquisite art collection and this attracts lots of people especially to the art museums in Florence, others come to visit the numerous vineyards around the area to test the fabled wine that is produced. Control of the Wine Industry



Prior to the eighteenth century the wine trade was in the hands of small individual merchants, and establishments on the scale of modern bodegas were entirely unknown; there was no continuity of name and no records of individual merchants have survived. Only one modern firm-J. M. Rivero-can trace its direct ancestry to an earlier period. This house has been trading at least since 1653.
