The wine region of Bordeaux- or Aquitaine are at these river junctions- produce mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merelot and cab franc blends for red and Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon for white- range from ordinary to fabulous- but great values from lesser priced houses if you look
